Small Unit Tactics (SUT) is a course designed to build practical skills for operating within a small infantry unit. Throughout the course, participants learn movement techniques across different terrain, formations, coordination of fire and movement, reacting to contact, and conducting or countering ambushes. It also covers patrolling, security, and internal unit communication.
Training is centered around practical exercises and scenario-based drills, requiring participants to act quickly, clearly, and as a cohesive team. The focus is on discipline, teamwork, and executing standard procedures correctly under pressure.
